Yes indeedy!  We’ve just spent a large portion of the last few days throwing together this here website.  Thought I’d pause to compose the first post of our little news feed here.

Yeah, and we have an album we’re trying to button up.  45 minutes in the can, 3 more tracks to finish up, and simultaneously getting this website to look halfway presentable.

The album has been in the works for pretty much most of ’08.  As usual, we’ve been kinda lax as far as sticking to a particular genre – I’ll post up the montage we’ve put together, like, soon, and you can get a good sample.

A real highlight of putting this album together was getting to work with and learn from bass player extrordinaire, Bryan Beller.  After all the time I’ve spent interpreting bass parts for most of our tunes, it was a blast to hear someone who actually knows what he’s doing break down the low end of our instrumental, F. Cotton’s Shenanigans. Bryan’s most recent work has included touring with Steve Vai, Dethklok, and another of our favorite artists, Mike Keneally.

All right – I’m beat.  But stay tuned – we expect to have more news shortly about the new CD.
